Two charming, pleasingly colored, stellate flowers and one bud alternately arranged on on erect 8.0 cm inflorescence; 1 cm diameter by 2 cm tall conoidal pseudobulbs bear two stiff, strongly veined, 2.3 cm wide by 11.0 cm long entire lanceolate leaves; sepals and petals yellow, faintly veined red, venation more pronounced on sepals, dorsal sepal curved forward over column; lip cream, central lobe bisected by a single brown vein, two serpentine white keels on either side of vein, margin crisped; side lobes heavily striped chestnut brown, coalescing to a chestnut brown eye at margin, stripes visible internally and externally; column cream suffused green, distinct brown striations apically and on reverse; anther cap yellow green; substance medium; texture crystalline; recognized for beautiful flowers proportional to compact plant habit; native to China (Yunnan); confirmed by SITF
