Tom Etheridge sent this explanation for the Challenge: the award flower does not, in my experience, match Cyrtochilum ramosissimum, or any other Cyrtochilum for that matter. Award #20125331 is a very good example of Cyrt. ramosissimum. Note that a yellow and brown form also exists (formerly known as var. xanthinum) but the flower form of the challenged award still does not match that of C. ramosissimum. I think the award plant is likely a member of the epidendroides group of the former genus Odontoglossum.
