Finding
SITF has determined this plant to be Coelogyne stricta, not Coel. leucantha (Jul 2025). The flowers on this plant are too large for leucantha. The two main keels have the same color pattern and rugose look as does C. stricta. The yellow mask in center of midlobe matches C. stricta. It blooms simultaneously on a mature pseudobulb (hysteranthous) and C. stricta blooms 6-15 flowers per infl and this plant has ten flowers and two buds on one inflorescence. This species is similar to C. holochila; however, C. holochila blooms on newly emerging pseudobulbs (heteranthous), not on mature pseudobulbs as does this plant.
