Finding
SITF confirms this plant as Dendrobium lankaviense (Mar 2025). Ridley named two taxa from the same area - this and D. exilicaule. The latter is now considered to be a synonym of lankaviense. It differs in a somewhat shorter mentum with a much less pronounced hook. It appears that there are specimens with fairly short less curved spurs and longer curved spurs. This plant shows a relatively short spur with just a start of a down turned hook at the apex, but within the range of D. lankaviense. Flower size is within range.
