Nine flat, stellate, light cream citron yellow flowers on three 4.0 cm inflorescences borne on a 52 cm leafless cane, and 2 nascent inflorescences on a second leafless cane of a 56 cm wide by 60 cm tall plant grown in sphagnum moss in a 10 cm clay pot; plant consists of 13 axillary-segmented, 0.5 - 1.5 cm diameter canes ranging from 8.2 cm to 60 cm in length; leaves lanceolate, entire, 4 cm wide by 27 cm long; sepals and petals concolor light citron yellow; lip acuminate, margins ruffled, canescent centrally, light citron yellow, darker yellow basally, overlaid olive-green veining coalescing centrally; column cream; substance medium; texture velvet; recognized for large flat flowers, unusual lip shape, and pleasing color; native to the Philippines; confirmed by SITF
