Seven large, well-open, xanthotic flowers and four bud presented primarily in pairs on five 0.2 cm inflorescences emerging from the upper nodes of four canes of a robust, well-grown 16 cm tall plant mounted on a 7 cm wide by 17 cm tall moss-covered cork plaque; leaves medium green, conduplicate, linear-lanceolate, 0.8 cm wide x 11 cm long are attached to petioles up to 3.5 cm long that sheath the 1.0 cm wide by 3.8 cm tall basally swollen pseudobulbs; sepals and petals translucent ice-green distally tipped green, each segment bears five fine linear ice green veins, lateral sepals fused basal one-half to form a 0.8 cm mentum which encloses the 0.5 cm long nectary extension of lip; lip acuminate, exterior green basally, dark green centrally, orange distally, interior non-visible; column enclosed between lip and sepals/petals; anther cap dark green; substance firm; texture crystalline; awarded as a beautiful and distinctive color form, devoid of the anthocyanins in the segments found in the typical forms of this attractive, miniature New Guinea species; confirmed by SITF
