
Encyclia-spiritusanctensis-2021-09-26***Confirmed as Encyclia spiritusanctensis (Jun 2022); this species differs from other members of the Genus by its clear rose lateral lobes which are elongated but have enlarged and rounded extremities; it also has prominently elongate (fusiform) pseudobulbs and side lobes that are porrect giving a bell-shape to the lip; sepals and petals should be a brown-rose color. This plant and flower fits all of the key characteristics stated; the dissected view of the side lobes show the rose color and rounded, enlarged apex; the pseudobulbs are fusiform, not pear-shaped and the sepals and petals are brown-rose color.***
