Finding
SITF confirms this plant as Habenaria bractescens (Aug 2026). Using the key from the Researchgate article, "Dos nuevos registros de Habenaria (Orchidaceae) para la flora argentina" this plant keys to Habenaria bractescens. The article also contains an excellent closeup photo which matches this plant. The petals of this flower are bilobed. The anterior lobe is that outswept, narrow pointed structure that gives the flower its width. The posterior lobe is what looks like the right and left side of the hood. That hood is those posterior lobes with the dorsal sepal adpressed to the back of them. Following the key, you get to couplet 11. This is a densely flowered inflorescence, making it bractescens. There also is a closely matching photo on the IOSPE to this plant.
