Finding
SITF confirms this plant as Mormodes tapoayensis (Jan 2025). There is a matching photo of an awarded plant in Brazil on the OW with additional non-awarded photos showing some variety in color (including an alba), but the form appears to be consistent with this plant. The flower size is in range and the color, although quite variable, matches several available photos. This plant is an excellent match to the photo in Fred Clarke's article in the Orchid Digest 2016 (80-4) and also to a photo on Orchidroots.
