Twenty seven bright vermillion flowers and 26 buds on six upright inflorescences to 23-cm on a plant 20-cm wide by 27-cm tall grown in a 17-cm pot; leaves 2.5-cm wide by 9.5-cm long, linear, light green, tessellated darker green; dorsal sepal and petals form hood over column, reverse light green; lateral sepals slightly recurved, light green; lip trilobed, mid-lobe deeply notched; falcate spur to 4.2-cm; column light green overlaid vermillion, prominent club-like protuberance from rostellum, vermillion; substance light; texture matte. Awarded for botanical recognition pending SITF identification as Habenaria roebelenii. Kew lists name as a synonym of Habenaria rhodocheila subsp. rhodocheila.
