Twenty-seven flowers and fifty buds on sixteen inflorescences up to 8-cm, on a beautifully grown 38-cm by 12-cm plant in an 18-cm round by 10-cm, shallow nursery pot; solitary leaves cordate, emerging from a creeping tapered rhizome; leaves beige overlaid tessellated dark green, glossy burgundy underside of leaves; clusters of non-resupinate flowers on short inflorescences; sepals and petals lanceolate, burgundy; lip narrowly cordate, yellow overlaid with coalesced red stripes longitudinally, centrally, column white, anther cap white; substance firm; texture satin.
