Five minuscule flowers and five buds on five sequentially blooming, wiry inflorescences to 7 cm on a small plant 5 cm wide by 4.5 cm high with shiny elliptical to oblanceolate leaves, from light green through medium to dark green, 0.5 cm wide by 1.2 cm long, margin entire, midline indented, grown on a small 4-cm wide by 8-cm high tree fern plaque with a small amount of sphagnum moss; sepals and petals membranous, white, margins and midline yellow, sepals broadly lanceolate, petals linear; lip ovate, apically incurved, appearing almost broadly cordate, glandular-papillose, burgundy; column yellow, side lobes blushed burgundy, anther cap yellow; substance indeterminate; texture membranous, glistening; species native to Ecuador; purchased from Carmen Apolo, owner of Ecuador Orquideas.
