 Platystele oxyglossa (Schltr.) Garay, Orquideologia 9: 120 (1974).
At the CPO Moyobamba Show held October 29, 2015 a clone of: Platystele oxyglossa (Schltr.) Garay, was granted an 81-point CHM and was granted the clonal name ‘Nadin’. Award was assigned number 20151803.

Description:Â
Eighteen stellate flowers and 27 buds on 45 inflorescences up to 3.1 cm long; coriaceous, fleshy, acute to obtuse leaves, margins entire 1.4 cm long x 0.3 cm wide; thin floral bracts 0.2 cm long x 0.1 cm wide; sepals and petals light creamy orange, central red-orange vein across the length; lip red orange darker on distal half of midlobe, lighter on side lobes; column light brown; anther cap light yellow; substance supple; texture crystalline; a charming and colorful miniature flower; per WCSPF, natural distribution is Mexico to South Tropical America; awarded as Platystele oxyglossa (Schltr.) Garay; provisionally verified by resident taxonomist Ricardo Fernández pending final determination by SITF.
