Two flowers on one pendant 27.0-cm. inflorescence; dorsal sepal oblong, basally broader, apically cupped, light yellow, darker apically, irregular light maroon blotches progressively smaller distally; lateral sepals deltoid, rounded, light yellow, basally cream irregularly bordered by light mahogany stippling, transitioning to mahogany blotches diminishing towards apex, apex dark butter yellow, inferior half undulate; petals oblong, sharply recurved around dorsal sepal, butter yellow, wide, rich mahogany bar basally, blotched rich mahogany; lip cream, hypochile saccate, rich dark burgundy bar basally, forming large eyes on exterior, interior finely stippled burgundy, mesochile finely stippled maroon distally, horns finely stippled maroon basally, epichile finely stippled maroon basally; column 5.5 cm, cream, proximal three-quarters densely finely blotched burgundy, anther cap yellow-cream; substance firm, lip hard; texture very finely crystalline, lip and column glossy.
