SITF agrees with the Challenge that this plant is not Vanda Xena (Jun 2026). The shape of the petals and lip do not fit V. Xena. It is a hybrid, probably containing Vanda lamellata, and possibly it is Vanda M. V. Tannins.

This hybrid is clearly not Vanda Xena and is most likely Vanda M. V. Tannins, and may be one of the two mericlones, 'Kirk' AM/AOS or 'Starburst' AM/AOS.

Here is the original description of the flower: Eighteen flowers on one 33.8-cm inflorescence; sepals and petals spatulate, golden yellow, suffused light mahogany on distal portion; laterals sepals suffused mahogany centrally; lip white, midlobe overlaid dark rose, side lobes pink; column white dotted brown; substance firm; texture matte.
