
Angraecum-drouhardii-Providence-Star-CHM/AOS-2021-08-28***Determined to be Angraecum cf. rutenbergianum, not Angaecum drouhardii (Nov 2021); identified with the aid of Johan Hermans, noted taxonomist specializing in African/Madagascan species, the spur of A. drouhardii is less than 2 cm long and its flower segments are about half the size of this plant; confirmed as A. cf. rutenbergianum based on the length of the spur, surface texture of the roots, size and aspect of the floral segments, a very short plant stem and short peduncle; A. rutenbergianum is similar to A. didieri and A. elephantinum, but differs in having almost equitant, succulent leaves, a broad, elliptic lip, and an anther cap which does not have a nose like projection; matches photos in the IOSPE, OW, and the SOF.***
