SITF confirms this plant as Cymbidium maguanense (Apr 2026). This plant keys to Cym. maguanense, based on the key in the "Flora of China": leaves are lorate and present at anthesis; the lip is fused to the column foot; Inflorescences are erect and arise from the leaf axil (on this plant they are coming from several leaves up from the base of the bulb); Pseudobulbs are not stemlike (like a Pinalia); lip is without purple blotch; Inflorescences have more than 2(3) flowers (12 flowers on 3 inflorescences on this plant).
