Finding
SITF has determined this plant to be Jumellea spathulata, not Jumellea ibityana (Oct 2026). A key difference is the spur length; With the spur length of 1.4cm, this plant is much closer to J. spathulata than to J. ibityana. The lip of ibityana is described as lanceolate, acute and with a 0.35-cm spur. This lip is flabellate, obtuse and the spur is measured at 1.4cm. It also agrees well with the obtuse apex of the midlobe in the IOSPE photo of J. spathulata.
