Two attractive, nodding flowers borne on two erect 15 cm long inflorescences emerging from two growths of a ten growth, 15 cm wide by 14 cm tall caespitose plant; lanceolate leaves 1.5 cm wide by 13 cm long are borne atop a 2.5 cm ramicaul; 1.5 cm long dorsal sepal and 2.0 cm long lateral sepals cream white suffused centrally and longitudinally striped yellow, each bearing a single chartreuse caudae up to 4 cm long; petals white; lip white; column white, dark burgundy basally; anther cap white; dark green cylindrical pedicel 1.0 cm long bears a 1.2 cm curved, ribbed, olive green ovary; substance firm; texture crystalline; native to Peru; recognized as a charming, recently described species (2015) whose flowering habit is unusual within the genus; confirmed by SITF
