Description: Eight stellate, cupped flowers and one bud on one 15cm, simple, semi-erect , apical, inflorescence borne on a plant mounted on a tree-log; lanceolate 10cm x 4xm single leaf held on a 4cm x 4cm flattened ovoid, glabrous pseudobulb; sepals and petals cream-green heavily stripped dark chocolate brown; petals narrower than sepals; lip white; column white overlaid cream-green, blotched maroon in linear pattern, three distinct purple blotches around the area whrere the light brown anther cap is; substance firm; texture glistening; per WCSPF natural distribution is Costa Rica, Guatemala and, Panamá; awarded as Prosthechea campylostalix (Rchb.f.)
