Finding

SITF has determined this plant to be Porpax fibuliformis, not P. grandiflora (Aug 2025). Although the two species are very similar, the plant leaves and flower form are a much closer fit to P. fibuliformis than to P. grandiflora; the leaves of P. grandiflora are narrower than are the leaves of this plant and the color and baby bird-like flower form are more like P. fibuliformis as well. Both species with photos can be found in the IOSPE and in the orchidroots.com.
