SITF confirms this plant as Dendrobium chryseum (Aug 2025). Matches D. aurantiacum (Syn. with D. chryseum) in the 2014 "Wild Orchids of Taiwan". D. chryseum normally has 4-6 flowers per infl. This is closer to two flowers per infl. which according to Baker & Baker agrees with D. flaviflorum found in Taiwan: "Growers indicate that plants known as D. flaviflorum from Taiwan are unspotted and usually have 2 blossoms per inflorescence"; however, POWO synonymizes D. flaviflorum with D. chryseum.

By the time the center received the request, the plant was not blooming anymore but the plant measurements were taken. We also join the award pictures.
