Overview
Miniature leafless saprophytes forming narrowly cylindric tubers. Inflorescences erect pedunculate racemes. Flowers cupped, produced in succession. Sepals and petals subsimilar, variously fused. Lip three-lobed. Column cylindric, with elongate recurved-falcate wings (stylids), without a foot or foot minute; pollinia 4, naked.
Etymology
From the Greek diminutive referring to the suggested relationship of this genus to the orchid genus Didymoplexis.
Distribution
A genus of six species native to Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia.
