Overview
Watery-succulent terrestrials. ##
Etymology
From the Greek dis, meaning twice, and pera, meaning wallet or sac, alluding to the two pouches formed by the lateral sepals.
Distribution
A genus of about 75 species distributed in the old world tropics of Africa and Asia as far east as ###.
