Overview
Monopodial epiphytes producing a fan-shaped plant. Stems very short. Leaves alternate, distichous, strap-shaped. Inflorescences erect, scapose, densely-flowered, spicate racemes. Flowers cupped. Sepals and petals free, spreading, subsimilar, subequal. Lip obscurely three-lobed, sessile, with an elongate basal spur. Column short, stout, without wings, without a foot; pollinia 2, attached by separate stipes to a common viscidium.
Distribution
A monotypic genus endemic to Madagascar.
