Etymology
From the Greek meirakyllion, meaning stripling, referring to the miniature creeping habit.
Distribution
A genus of two species in Mexico and Guatemala.

Mount plants of Meiracyllium on slabs with a pad of moisture-retaining material at the roots. Provide bright light levels, intermediate temperatures, and regular watering throughout the year. The roots should dry out slightly between waterings.
