Overview
Large caepitose epiphytes. Pseudobulbs prominent. Leaves plicate, elliptic-lanceolate. Inflorescences erect basal scapose racemes. Flowers showy, fragrant. Sepals and petals subsmilar, subequal, free, spreading. Lip three-lobed, articulated to the column foot, with a prominent complex callus. Column arching, lacking wings, with a short foot; pollinia 4, in two unequal pairs, on a common stipe and viscidium.
Distribution
A monotypic genus native to Panama and Colombia.

Grow Neomoorea in large pots or baskets with a medium grade epiphyte mixture. Provide warm temperatures, medium light levels, and steady watering throughout the year. The plants are notoriously difficult to flower and should be infrequently repotted and allowed to become pot-bound.
