Overview
Miniature epiphytes. Roots fleshy. Leaves small, rosulate, spirally arranged. Inflorescences terminal few-flowered racemes. Sepals and petals subsimilar, subequal, free, spreading-reflexed. Lip three-lobed, the midlobe broadly transverse, saccate at the base, with a low transverse callus between the lateral lobes. Column elongate, terete, dilated at the apex, with a short foot, the foot with a pair of erect teeth; pollinia 4, in 2 subequal pairs, on a spatulate stipe and a minute viscidium.
Distribution
A monotypic genus endemic to Brazil.
