Leafless saprophytes. Stems unbranched, concealed by numerous scarious bracts. Inflorescences terminal congested racemes, the floral bracts large, inflated. Flowers not resupinate. Sepals and petals free, subsimilar. Lip three-lobed, with callus ridges. Column straight, slightly dilated; pollinia 2.
Distribution
A genus of two species endemic to Brazil.
