Overview
Miniature caespitose epiphytes. Leaves one to several, rigid, bilaterally compressed to subterete. Inflorescences axillary racemes or panicles. Flowers minute, tubular. Sepals and petals subsimilar, the lateral sepals fused for part of their length. Lip three-lobed, with or without a callus. Column straight, with prominent column wings; pollinia two.
Distribution
A genus of seven species from South America. The species included in Quekettia may represent one or more parallel groups based on reductions for a twig-epiphyte ecology. More data is required before accepting marginally defined segregates such as Stictop

Grow Quekettia on small slabs without any moisture-retaining medium at the roots. Provide very bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Water frequently but allow the plants to dry out between waterings.
