Care and Culture Card
See basic growing conditions and care information below.
Grow plants of Seidenfadenia mounted on slabs without any moisutre retaining material at the roots or in baskets either without any growing medium or with an extremely open epiphyte mixture. Provide bright light levels. Water regularly and provide intermediate to warm temperatures during the growing season. When the plants are not in active growth reduce watering to maintenance levels and provide intermediate to cool-intermediate temperatures. Plants of Seidenfadenia are adapted to a strongly monsoonal climate and often decline in cultivation when kept too warm and(or) overwatered during dormant periods.
