Overview
Leafless saprophytes with dimorphic roots forming subterranean cylindric tuberoids surmounted by fasciculate terete roots. Inflorescences terminal, erect, few-flowered racemes. Flowers tubular, campanulate, resupinate. Sepals and petals subsimilar, fused for most of their length. Lip unlobed, without a callus. Column wingless, footless, with a broad, V-shaped stigmatic surface; pollinia apparently 2, loosely granular.
Distribution
A genus of two species in northern South America and Panama.
