Nine flowers on 2 inflorescences to 2.0 cm long, inflorescences pendant , arising from base of mature leaf sheaths; plant pendant, 12.0 cm wide x 11.0 cm long, grown on a 7.5 cm wide x 9.6 cm long cedar shingle with sphagnum moss; stem repent, 0.5 cm wide; largest leaf 2cm wide x 7cm long, falcate, leathery, green spotted purple-violet with leathery sheath encircling stem, sheaths to 0.5 cm wide x 1.3 cm long; roots 0.2 cm wide, surface of root velamen warty, root tips lime green; small flowers generally translucent green overlaid yellow with plum red speckling; dorsal sepal obovate; petals obovate, acuminate; lateral sepals oblanceolate; lip epichile triangular, white overlaid bright yellow centrally, with faint plum red marking showing through from abaxial surface, margin erose, hypochile saccate, white overlaid bright yellow with faint plum red speckling on basal interior of pouch and abaxial surface, margins entire, plum red; column stout, light yellow overlaid light plum red speckling; anther cap translucent pale yellow; ovary terete, light green, plum red speckling longitudinally, 0.1 cm wide x 0.5 cm long; substance firm, texture beaded; fragrance noted; species native to Vietnam and Yunnan province of China; ID by SITF ___________________.
