Lepanthes-posthen-2023-04-27 *SITF has confirmed this plant as Lepanthes posthon (May 2023).

The spelling of the species was corrected to L. posthon. Described by Luer in Lindleyana 2(4):210, this plant is an excellent match to the drawing. The closely similar species, L. tripulifera, does not have bifurcate petals. A closeup photo of this plant clearly shows the bifurcate apices of the petals which agrees with L. posthon.
