The Latin diagnosis in Archilla's article mentioned that the species is similar in habit (habitus) to Lycaste powelii. ________________________ Enclosed a scan of a Description of Oakley's article on Lycaste powellii just in case we need to compare to powellii, its natural hybrids or related species.

The KEW monocot list has accepted Lycaste zacapensis as a valid species based on Fredy Archila's publication
